Data Codes

Code	Description
Specimen	Based on curated museum specimen or curated photograph.
Reported	Based on reports, studies or statemts by recognized expert. Includes statements of having examined evidence such as specimens, photographs, tracks, scat, visual observation, etc.
Unverified	Based on unverified, but probably dependable reports; or circumstantial evidence (e.g., range & habitat; historical reports, etc.) for extirpated or very rare species; or from a presumably dependable source which does not specify original data type for county.
